Who We Are

Who We Are

Lexxic is a specialist psychological consultancy, built by psychologists, for neurodivergent minds. We partner with organisations across the public and private sector to create Neurodiversity Smart™ workplace cultures and deliver psychological support services to neurodivergent talent.

Our in-house team of Chartered and Occupational Psychologists bring considerable real-life and lived experience of neurodiversity to everything we do. That experience, combined with nearly two decades of specialist expertise, is what sets us apart.

Our Origins

How We Started

Lexxic was founded in 2007 by Nicola James, a Chartered Occupational Psychologist who had managed her own challenges with dyslexia in the corporate sector. Nicola built Lexxic on a simple belief: that organisations could do far better by neurodivergent employees, and that psychological expertise, not guesswork, was the way to make that happen.

Since then, Lexxic has grown from that founding insight into a specialist, in-house team of psychologists, supporting organisations throughout the UK and Ireland, including Occupational Health Providers, FTSE 100 companies, government organisations, and the NHS. Today, Lexxic is led by CEO Dan Ferrandino.

Our Heritage

Our Heritage and Longevity

We were the first organisation of our kind in the UK to work across all neurological differences, and we have built nearly two decades of specialist track record doing it. Longevity in this field matters. It means the recommendations we make are grounded in real experience across thousands of workplaces, not theory.

Today, Lexxic supports thousands of neurodivergent individuals every year through assessment, coaching and training, and partners with organisations including the NHS, government departments, and FTSE 100 companies to build genuinely neuroinclusive workplaces.

Why Our Heritage Matters

  • Nearly two decades of specialist neurodiversity experience, not a recent market entrant
  • The first organisation in the UK to work across all neurological differences
  • A specialist in-house team of Chartered and Occupational Psychologists
  • Trusted by the NHS, government departments, and FTSE 100 companies
  • Decades of combined clinical expertise from Lexxic and digital innovation from Do-IT Profiler, now working as one team
  • Genuine lived experience of neurodivergence across our leadership and specialist team, not just clinical qualifications

2007 to 2017

Building the Foundation

Lexxic grows from a small, founder-led practice into an established UK consultancy, building an in-house team of Chartered and Occupational Psychologists and developing the assessment, coaching and training services that remain at the core of Lexxic today.

Do-IT Solutions Founded by Professor Amanda Kirby

Separately, Professor Amanda Kirby founds Do-IT Solutions, a tech-for-good company building digital screening tools and neurodiversity profiling technology. Over more than a decade, Do-IT's tools expand far beyond education and employment into some of the most under-served settings in the UK, including the justice system. Do-IT's screening technology is used to identify neurodivergent traits among people in prison, supporting more person-centred approaches in justice and offender management settings where neurodivergent conditions are common and frequently undiagnosed.

Building Trust

Partnering Where It Matters Most

Over the years, Lexxic builds trusted relationships with public sector and healthcare organisations, including the NHS, supporting neurodivergent staff and embedding neuroinclusive practice in environments where consistency, evidence and confidentiality matter enormously.
