Answers to the questions we're asked most often about neurodiversity, our assessments, coaching, training and accreditation. Can't find what you need? Our team is always happy to help.
Neurodiversity is the idea that variation in how human brains work — attention, learning, communication, movement, focus — is a natural and valuable part of human difference, rather than a deficit to be fixed. It's estimated that around 1 in 5 people are neurodivergent in some way, and being neurodiversity smart™ means recognising that talent and building practices that let everyone do their best work.
We work across every sector — including financial services, healthcare, technology, legal, government, education, construction and more — as well as with the NHS, government departments, occupational health providers and FTSE 100 companies. Our approach is tailored to each organisation, not templated.
No. Our coaching, screening and workplace support are open to individuals with a formal diagnosis, those who suspect they may be neurodivergent, and anyone referred for workplace support. Under the Equality Act 2010, a formal diagnosis isn't required for reasonable adjustment duties to apply, which is why our services are designed to work without one.
A screening assessment identifies whether someone shows tendencies associated with a neurodivergent condition — it produces an indication, not a confirmed diagnosis. A diagnostic assessment uses objective clinical and cognitive measures, delivered by a qualified clinician, to formally confirm or rule out a diagnosis. If you're not sure which you need, our team will help you decide.
A Workplace Needs Assessment (WPA) is a psychologist-led assessment that looks at how an individual's profile interacts with the demands of their specific role. It combines input from the employee and their line manager, and results in a detailed report with practical, job-specific recommendations for adjustments — not a generic checklist.
The Do-IT Profiler is a web-based, modular screening platform, developed over more than 20 years and already trusted by over 100,000 users across the UK and Ireland. It screens across six neurodivergent trait areas — dyslexia, dyspraxia/DCD, ADHD, autism spectrum traits, dyscalculia and developmental language disorder traits — and generates an instant, personalised report with practical recommendations, without requiring a prior diagnosis.
We don't administer Access to Work funding directly, but our Workplace Needs Assessments produce exactly the kind of evidence-based, psychologist-authored report that Access to Work and similar funding applications typically require. Get in touch with our team and we'll talk you through what's involved for your situation.
Neurodiversity coaching is confidential, one-to-one support delivered by qualified psychologists and experienced coaches, helping individuals understand how they work best and build practical strategies to perform effectively at work. It complements assessment by turning insight into sustained, everyday change — typically over a programme of several sessions.
Coaching is delivered virtually, one-to-one with a qualified psychologist or experienced coach, making it flexible and accessible wherever you are. Our Workplace Needs Assessments, by contrast, can be arranged remotely or in person depending on what works best for the individual and organisation.

Yes. As a specialist consultancy handling sensitive data, we hold certifications including ISO 27001 (information security), ISO 9001 (quality management), Cyber Essentials, and Disability Confident employer status. Neurodiversity Smart™ is a separate, structured accreditation for employers, assessed by our qualified psychologists across three domains — recruitment and onboarding, leadership and talent development, and environment, adjustments and wellbeing. Organisations progress through Bronze, Silver and Gold levels, giving them a credible, independently assessed benchmark of their neuroinclusion progress.
You can submit an employer referral for coaching or a Workplace Needs Assessment directly through our website, or contact our team by email or phone to discuss what's right for you or your organisation. We'll come back to you to talk through next steps.
